About Us
Around here there is everything from reading books to hunting,
fishing and camping.  Playing chess and other board games to a
lot of sports.  Spending time with family and friends, following the

Huskers
, and watching The Discovery Channel, History Channel,
and hiking the wilderness of Nebraska and surrounding States.
We attend the Methodist Church and love to research subjects.
(Just like many families, except I had to think of something to
write here.)

If Chase is not playing baseball, football, racquetball,  basketball,
or with friends, then almost for certain he is asleep.  Jesse is into
everything and is giving us gray hair.  He climbs onto the back of
any dog and says "gitty-up," jumps into bodies of water, and tries
flips on the trampoline.

We spend many hours outdoors and often hike the plains with
our two Springer Spaniels.

AJ and Cannon are outstanding pheasant hunters.
Idle Field Lancaster County
Above left is an idle Lancaster County crop field.  Upon a closer
inspection we discovered these two small arrowheads, (upper
right), indications that someone was here a long time ago.  These
two artifacts probably represent two different time periods.  This
field may have been the site of a small Indian village, abandoned
then reoccupied many years later.
The four-sided beveled knife, (below), that measures approximately
five inches was found nearby as well, and is called a Nebraska
Harahey Knife, made of Niobrara Jasper.

Lancaster County was probably an ideal area for the Indians to
reside.
