Tucked in with the turn of the century brick buildings in the Historic Haymarket, (just West of Downtown
in Lincoln, Nebraska), and along the older store fronts in the 4700 block of Prescott, (Southeast Lincoln,
near Union College), are two great Coffee Shops named
"The Mill."   Friends Dan Sloan and Dale Nordyke
own these great coffee shops.  Many years ago, the co-owners had a friendly wager on who could make
the best coffee.  The gentleman's handshake eventually evolved into the pair opening (about 1975),
a
coffee shop in the Haymarket, and latter a coffee shop a
t 4736 Prescott Ave, here in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The fresh coffee beans arrive daily in burlap sacks.  You can purchase the beans whole or ask to have
them ground.  The Mill has many gourmet and varieties of coffees.  My favorite?  "The Mill Blend."  Also,
"The Mill" has cool, natural juices, teas, and fresh locally baked goods. In addition to having a fresh cup
of coffee ready to go, they carry unique gifts and gift certificates.  Internet orders from their web site?
No problem and hassle free.

Hands-on ownership, small locally owned business, fresh coffee, a friendly staff, stop in and conduct
your coffee purchases here.

Below:  Maggie Bertsche and Mark Truex-Wolberg stop briefly while working at the Prescott location to
say hello.
